- I am an adult, a parent, and a gamer. My son is 9 years old. Does he love video games like his old man? Of course. Do I let him play Mass Effect, Left 4 Dead, or any other M rated game? Of course NOT. Just like I wouldn't let him watch an R, or even PG-13, movie. He isn't old enough.
